A strawberry festival is once again happening at the beautiful and luscious town of Van, Kentucky. It is the much awaited event pf the year as people from near and far gather at one place in Van to celebrate the "McRoberts Strawberry Festival". The Strawberry Festival will feature various fun parts for the whole family. There will be Arts & Crafts festival and a free lecture and lessons that focus on Strawberry and its uses.
Lessons will be given that cater to bring public awareness on the historical and cultural significance of this plump and delicious fruit. Strawberries are plentiful in this part of the country, given that Maine enjoys a cool weather that prompts the cultivation of ripe and succulent strawberries. Perhaps because of the strawberries red color which connotes love or the heart? Or probably because of its shape which is also like a heart if to be viewed closely.
