Needless to mention, my trip to South Africa would obviously include a visit to the Falkland Islands about which I have heard so much. Divided into two separate islands " the East Falkland Island and the West Falkland Island, there is a cluster of other smaller islands which add more value to this Island as a holiday destination. The Island seems especially attractive to me, because of its meager population " only 3000! This would give me ample opportunity to spend my leisure days in peace and quietude away from the usual city noise that I am used to back home.
I am a meticulous travel planner and I must have all details pertaining to weather conditions, travel requirements, etc before I move out of the house. I now know that Stanley is a port city is the capital of Falkland Islands, which is again part of UK overseas territory and associated with the EU.
The weather condition of this magnificent island is cool and windy. Chances of snowing loom large but not so during January and February. Being an avid lover of nature, the multitude of bird species that I expect to see in these Islands is going to make my holiday memorable. In fact the startling varieties of marine life and birds have enthralled millions of tourists and continue to draw more to these Islands.
The question still remains how to reach the Falklands Islands safely and in the most convenient way? My research skills have revealed that there are plenty of airlines as well as luxury cruises taking people there. After weighing the various options of getting there, I have selected a flight with Falkland Islands Travel. Of course I do not have to worry about finding a travel agent who can organize the trip for me, as there are plenty of them around. The items needed to visit the Falkland Islands include a visa to enter the Islands, passport and other travel related documents. Now that I have made all the necessary preparations, I am humming that John Denver song: I am leaving on a jet plane, dont know if Ill be back again! Falkland Islands " here we come!
