Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

My great sat nav Tom Tom one V3

By Bill Cool

Just decided to drop a quick post to tell every one about how much I like my Tom Tom Sat Nav at the moment.

So here a just some of the reasons I really love using it every day. I drive long distances for work so its fantastic.

1. It saves me from remembering how to get anywhere! I get hopelessly lost otherwise and this saves me a lot of time. Can you imagine how much money all that fuel I use up costs. I save a fortune in petrol.

2. I find it amusing that my mother simply does not understand it and seems to think that it is the spear head oy yet another new wave of evil technology. Which she is basically convinced is taking over the world. The way she jumps every time it speaks totally cracks me up.

3. The voice of my TomTom is nice and relaxing.I have called the nice Irish lady who talks to me Erica. She is lovely and we get along very well together. We have not fallen out as yet. Which is much better than when my wife gives directions

4. Avoiding toll charges is great. I hate paying tolls just to use the roads. I pay road tax and do not see why I should ever have to pay again to use something I have already paid for. Out of principle I avoid toll areas except if I am in a major rush then I use the fastest route option. Which seems pretty good overall.

5. The museums option where it points out when I am passing interesting places is great. I also quite like the fact that it will tell me things like where the nearest petrol stations. The best thing by far though hast to be the warning signals it gives me when I approach speed cameras. This has totally saved me three points or more.

6. It gets me to all my children?s sports matches on time. They seem to be all over the place. Almost as thought they deliberately place them in locations that are hard to find and get to. Fortunately the sat navs map lets me get them there with out too much hassle so that all of my weekends are not taken up with their sporting activities.

7. I love the way that it looks and feels on my dashboard when I am driving along. I know this may sound a bit weird but it is true. Although I have to hide it when I park the car as I don?t want anyone breaking my wind screen in order to nick it from my car. I could not be doing with the hassle of that

8. I will be looking forward to using my new sat nav to travel all around the northeast well on holiday next month. It is going to be fantastic.

Kind Regards,

Bill
