Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Outdoor Adventures and Family Activities in New Jersey

By Alix Montoya

We all know New Jersey isn't the first thing that comes to mind when somebody mentions adventure. Top vacation spots in the country are hogged by Florida, Hawaii, or Alaska. Although, it doesn't have to be this way all the time. Sure it's not clogged by hundreds of hotels and resorts, but the Graden State still has a few tricks up its outdoors sleeve that's sure to catch the attention of thrill seekers everywhere.

You can try the ten mile long island between the historical Barnegat Bay and the amazing Atlantic and get your fix of sunset picnics on the beach or hitch a ride on the back of a dolphin with your snorkels. The Island Beach State Park boasts more than three thousand acres of pure beach adventures and activities for saltwater fishing trips or just overall family fun.

The animals in New Jersey's excellent wildlife are as amazing to watch as they are diverse. If you want to watch whales, there are boat tours which take you to experience these great mammals in the flesh. Or you can stop over one of the bird watching sites along the Atlantic City Flyway and take a refreshing look at herons, shore birds or the northern diamondback terrapin.

If you're of the camping type, Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge boasts 42,000 acres of pure woodlands adventures for the thrill seeker in all of us. Or take part in the daily wolf watches in Lakota Wolf Reserve in Camp Taylor. Get to know these misunderstood pack animals and experience the natural adventure of a lifetime in wide wild New Jersey.

Take your skis and ski your way down the snowcapped mountain ranges that New Jersey offers in its winter activities. Go fly fishing for salmon during their season in the spring. Take your friends kayaking along the many rivers that flow to the Atlantic in the summer. Or go hiking along the thousand mile treks and trails in the beautiful autumn woodlands. All year round there are activities to be done and fun to be had in New Jersey.

New Jersey has always been just the center for commerce but you'll never know what the adventure opportunities it has until you try it. Get a dose of the Garden State's wild side and know the real meaning of the word adventure.
