Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Beach Inns of Encinitas California

By Heather Hunnefeld

Encinitas is the quintessential Southern California beach town. Business people and surfers alike are lined up at Juanita's Taco Shop for lunch. The wide sidewalks along the historic Old Highway U.S. 101 in "downtown" is lined with outdoor restaurants. Tourists and kids are seen walking around downtown barefoot, in swim suits while other are waxing down their surfboards for a session at Moonlight Beach.

Ann Dunham owns a delightful Bed and Breakfast in Encinitas called the Inn at Moonlight Beach. Only a three minute walk from Ann's Inn, Moonlight Beach is the perfect beach for a picnic, to swim, soak up sun, find a game of beach volleyball, go surfing, try boogie-boarding or body surfing, or just read a book.

Every one of the four rooms or suites at Ann's Inn At Moonlight Beach are decorated in the best of taste in the flavor of a French Beach Inn. Every morning will find Ann baking her guests warm-from-the-oven rolls, croissants, breads and pastries for breakfast.

Many guests at the inn start their day with a walk along the Pacific Ocean. From the inn you can walk for miles in either direction at sunrise and then return to the inn for a delicious home-made breakfast. Swami's Beach was made famous by The Beach Boys in 1963 and is only a short walk along the sandy beach from the Inn.

Ann's guests awaken each morning to the sweet sounds of a meditative waterfall. They can drift back to sleep, have an early cup of coffee, or seize the day with a morning walk to Moonlight Beach as the unique beach town of Encinitas awakens.

After their early morning activities, guests return to the Inn and relax with a cup of fresh, hot Starbucks coffee and the morning newspaper in Ann's breakfast sunroom, or enjoy their breakfast outside in the sunshine next to her soothing waterfall.

In the evenings, guests enjoy romantic moonlit walks on the beach. Others prefer to relax on the front porch of the Inn with a glass of wine while they enjoy the twilight over the ocean. When guests are ready for bed they can snuggle down under fine cotton linens and down-filled pillows and let the soothing songs of the waterfall and distant surf lull them to sleep.

For other lodging accommodations, vacationers will find that Del Mar California Hotels and Carlsbad Bed and Breakfasts are plentiful in the Pacific Ocean beach towns of northern San Diego.

Swami's Beach, immortalized by the Beach Boy's in 1963 (let's go surfing now, everybody's learning how, come on a safari with me!) is just 6 blocks south of Moonlight Beach on historic Highway 101 and still draws the finest surfers in the world on a daily basis.
