Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Caribbean Cruise Review

By John Siekdof

Caribbean cruise is among the widely popular cruise honeymoon destinations. The honeymoon couples just love the adventurous spree and the satisfaction of the Caribbean islands. Thus, cruising Caribbean is always special.

All you need to do is be sure that you are booking a good cruise line so that you get a perfect vacation experience that you are looking for. Here is a review on Caribbean cruise. Hope this will help you for your vacation.

Our trip and Caribbean cruise line

The cruise trip that we chose was at Western Caribbean. Carnival Cruise lines was the cruise line of our trip and ship was called the Carnival Conquest. I was touring Caribbean for the second time but my spouse was traveling Caribbean islands for the first time. We started our journey from New Orleans. We arrived at a New Orleans hotel a day before and took some rest there and then on the nest we started for out Caribbean cruise.

Preparation for the Trip

Our excitement level was so high that we reached the dock much before the cruise was to start. When we reached there, we saw that Carnival Conquest is unloading the passengers and after that it was prepared for the next trip, where we were supposed to board in.

We were waiting for our chance to get inside the ship and the queue was already rising. The luggage porters told that boarding time would be 10 am. Then we cleared our boarding pass and got the "sail & sign". We showed the necessary papers to the security and then got inside the ship.

All these procedures took around two more hours and it was actually 12:00 pm when we got on board finally. The wait was long but certainly not tiring. Carnival cruise takes good care of food and we already had our foods ready and started our Caribbean cruise.

First Day Experience

There were around 3000 people traveling on the cruise. So, it took quite a lot of time to get our luggage into the room. When we got the luggage, we checked that whether everything is there or not.

We were desperately looking for our swimming suits and as soon as we got our luggage, we changed and took a plunge into the swimming pool. After whole lot of entertainment and sight seeing, we got on to the dinner table around 8:00 pm and enjoyed a delicious dinner.

Some Great Moments

The first day was good but the actual pleasure of the Western Caribbean cruise was waiting for us in the second and the third day. We sailed through the Mississippi river and reached the Gulf of Mexico. In these two days, we enjoyed a lot. We participated in the lounge trivia, gambled in the casino, soaked up the sun, hit the gym and took some fabulous drinks.

Remember that you will have quite a few moments of lifetime on the Caribbean cruise. Hence, be sure that you have packed your camera.
