Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Pontoon Boat Basics

By Jacob Glorian Denzel Abbeesh Ronald Callingforn Tom Ryan

You may be looking to purchase your first boat, if so you may want to give a pontoon boat as your first purchase a consideration. The main reason for this is that pontoon boats will offer a lot more space than other types of boats, and the price per square footage is cheaper also.

Pontoon boats are flat shaped, staying afloat by 2 long metal cylinders attached under the deck of the boat from aft to the stern. These are known as pontoons, and on a pontoon boat there can be 2 to 3 of them depending on the users preference.

A boat that has 2 pontoons on it is made for riding slow, although you can reach high speeds if you have a powerful enough motor equipped. If you have a pontoon boat that has three pontoons under the deck, you will be able to maneuver the boat more accurate, and also achieve higher speeds then if you just had two.

One of the nicknames that floats around for pontoon boats is the party boat. This is because there is so much room on these types of boats, you can have many people on them at once. Therefore a lot of owners will use them as a place to party on the water.

One of the best things about pontoon boats is the detailed amount of customizing that you are able to do. You can have sunroofs with slides, many types of furniture, commodes, fishing holders, or anything else that you can think of.

Pontoon boats can also be used and customized especially for fishing. You will have plenty of extra room to store all of your fishing tackle and fishing gear. With the amount of space that you have you will not have any problems casting out lines, or throwing a cast net.

You can also customize a pontoon boat for fishing with built in live wells, fishing rod holders, and coolers to keep your catch in. Trolling motors and spot lights can also be easily installed for flats fishing and night fishing also.

If you are a deep sea fisherman than a pontoon boat would not be the right boat for you. They are not constructed to handle heavy seas, small waves can easily crash over the bow of the boat, and the way that the boat is shaped will cause very bad rocking, it is not safe to take pontoon boats out into the ocean.
