Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

In-Flight Food Options For Private Jet Charters

By Chris Channing

A private jet charter is a luxurious form of travel. You shouldn't have to settle with eating a basic ham and cheese sandwich, especially when on an extended flight that could take hours to reach the destination. Lining out your catering needs beforehand is, thus, required.

The average private jet isn't going to have much of a kitchen, or what pilots would otherwise call a galley. At most the average private jet will have an area for refrigeration and microwave. Higher priced models could include the use of a steam oven, but odds are that type of technology is out of reach for the average business owner. As you can see, it can be hard to plan a meal with limited tools.

With limited options available you will see that your options in food preparation have cut dramatically. Thoroughly cooking meat will not be possible without a proper oven. Microwave-cooked meat will taste odd unless specifically designed to be cooked within the microwave. Meat that has already been cooked and only needs to be warmed is the best solution.

Bringing your meal on board with you isn't such a bad idea. Preparing the meal during a flight takes too much time and would interrupt an otherwise peaceful flight. Take some basic foods that require little preparation, such as strawberries and carrots. Keeping it simple never hurt anyone, and even the simple sandwich can be made to please the most refined of tastes.

You don't have to be alone in your quest for a better meal while on a private jet charter. Catering companies will do the work for you, albeit at a high price. Whereas you can get by with a simple meal on your own, catering companies will create full meals that are sure to satisfy. When you are traveling with others a catering company would be the better choice. When traveling alone, you might just consider doing without a full course meal.

Eating is still just a method of gaining nutrients and hydration, so remember that any meal you or your caterer provides should be well balanced. Include food from all of the food groups if you have the option. The proper diet will be necessary for keeping your energy up for the events to follow your flight, whether for pleasure or business. Catering companies should already be aware of nutritional tactics.

Closing Comments

Meals consumed over a flight don't have to be exotic. You can get by being as simple or expensive as you would like. If you do decide that you want the most options in food preparation, you can always upgrade your galley to be fitted with new cooking instruments.
