Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

By Linda Beckett

Planning a honeymoon should be fun as you want to plan an exciting honeymoon that you will look forward to after the wedding. Many couples do not know how to plan this memorable vacation and end up feeling frustrated. You can get rid of a lot of frustration by asking for advice from any recently married colleagues. It is important to choose what you want to do for you honeymoon and not have someone else push own wants onto you.

Before any plans are booked you need to figure out your style. What types of places to you want to visit, a lake, desert, or maybe a few locations. Determine your amount of money and stick to it. Also when do you want to go on your romantic getaway? Traditionally honeymoons occur after the wedding but you can go on your honeymoon straight after the reception, several months after the wedding,or at the wedding venue. Your honeymoon can last for several weeks or only a few nights.

After deciding on the location then you need to research hotels and other accommodation options. Determine if you want to be staying at a small place with a few room, at an all-inclusive resort, in the heart of a city, close to nightclubs and entertainment, at a large place with many amenities, or at a place that caters to couples of adults only.

Will your meals be included, will you have to prepare them, are you planning on doing any fine dining, or simply use room service. Finally want activities do you want to do, take some long walks on the beach, go to clubs and bar, see some live entertainment or have some romantic time.

You can also find some great deals by off-peak travel as well. If you are booking the hotel yourself you should contact the hotel, cruise line or resort and let them know that it is a honeymoon. Otherwise your travel agent should take care of that.

You should look into honeymoon packages as these are designed for the ultimate romantic experience. These packages will ensure that your honeymoon is spent at a top hotel or resort. You can find honeymoon packages to almost any spot in the world and for any type of honeymoon.

There are honeymoon packages available from many travel companies and hotels. If you are on a honeymoon you may receive couples massages, flowers in the room, chocolates and champagne, and candlelit dinners. Honeymoon packages are designed to be very romantic and if you are great options if you are unsure about what to chose.

The placement of your room can be very important. Think of how romantic it is to have a room where the doors open up to a white sand beach or have an overlook of a tropical harbor. Keep lots of fresh flowers and bring your own candles and incense to set the mood. You should also determine what amenities you want in your room, plunge pool, bathrobes, air conditioning, minibar, CD player, DVD player, whirlpool bath or a king size bed.
