Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Cruise Vacations For Relaxation

By Donny McKinnon

Taking cruises for vacation have a lot of advantages over just staying in one place. With a cruise you encounter an almost all inclusive vacation that offers you a comfortable cabin, delicious food all day long, entertainment, and daily activities. Your staff has your comfort in mind when they change damp towels during the day every time you leave your cabin and they turn down your bed at night.

Staterooms come in about 3 different designs. There is the inside cabin that suits the traveler who wants to shower and get going to enjoy the daily and nightly entertainment. Your comfortable bed will give you a good night's sleep. The outside cabins offer decks or windows and the ocean view will cost you more. All the other amenities remain the same.

The ship bustles with daily activities. Tango or salsa classes, trivia games, bands, and parties at the pool and art classes name just a few of the activities offered every day. You can relax at the indoor pool which is usually near the spa or you can go crazy and belly flop at the pool. Take a snooze before dinner so you can enjoy the nightly show!

There are tours on each island that can be purchased for a separate fee. There are cooking classes, horseback riding, golf, scuba diving and then the old-time "kind of free"... Shopping. Each island offers something different. Before disembarking, make sure you know what time to be back to the ship. Maybe you would like some extra time on Cozumel, but you will have to pay for your own transportation to catch up with the ship!

While the ship is in port, stay aboard if you wish. Many people disembark to visit the island. You are welcome to stay aboard, enjoy the spa or the pool, or just gaze at the port's movements and people. If your partner goes ashore for golf, get a group of girls together to enjoy lunch out on the deck.

The hours for dining are very well planned. Room service is the answer to every one's dream. There are food stations all over the ship for all-inclusive eating day and night. Breakfast is open seating in the dining room and full buffet on a different upper deck. Lunch is also open seating or buffet.

What a lovely affair dinner is. Served in the dining room by wonderful waiters who can't do enough for you. First class entrees are served graciously by well trained waiters. The whole meal is a marvelous, relaxing and indulgent two hours. Your waiter will call you by name and remember your preferences. If you are in a hurry, the buffet meals are scrumptious and waiting for you to help yourself.

Your best value for your vacation can be to book a cruise. How many nights can you be pampered?
