Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Cancun is Mexico's Most Popular Gay Friendly Destination

By Ricardo d Argence

Cancun is the jewel in the crown of Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula; truly a paradise on Earth. The city consists of an old city and a newer portion, connected by bridges.

The newest part has become the main part for tourists and has become a resort destination to accommodate the ever-growing number of visitors. It was in 1970 that the tourist trade began to boom and today, there are more the 600,000 people who reside here on the lovely shores of Cancun.

Most give credit to the turquoise colored water that reminds people of crystals and the soft white sandy beaches that entice people to keep coming back for more.

Mexico is a popular destination for gay tourists, but no city in the country is more popular than Cancun. Its a friendly place which invites guests from all walks of life to get away from it all and relax. No matter who you are or where youre from, Cancun welcomes you with open arms to partake of its beaches and its nightlife.

Other than Cancun, Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco are also popular gay friendly tourist destinations, but neither can match the popularity of Cancun. This is largely due to the natural beauty of the city, but it bears mentioning that Cancun offers many more gay friendly spots than do any of the other popular destinations in Mexico; there are beaches and resorts and some of the most lively clubs in the country to be found here.

There is a main strip in Cancun which houses the main resorts and hotels for both gay and straight tourists, and that is called Zona Hotelera. Approximately 15 minutes from this strip, you will find some of the best in nightlife with clubs galore.

Tourists tell us that the Karamba club is not to be missed. This club has been the go-to gay nightclub since the 1980's and remains one of the most popular in the entire country! With nightly shows and a large, constantly packed dance floor, this is the number one spot for dancing and nightlife in Cancun.

You can step away from the Karamba later on and wind down your evening at the slightly more low key Picante. This is a much smaller club but it does draw a lively and mixed crowd late at night. Along with the Karamba, Picante is a club you should make a point of visiting on your trip to Cancun.

Cancun also holds some annual gay friendly events, including the Cancun International Gay Festival. This five year tradition is held every May and always attracts a big crowd from the world over.

If you prefer the wintertime for traveling then you may want to visit during the month of November when the annual Cancun Riviera Maya Gay Fall Festival takes place. Keep in mind that no matter what time of year you visit, there is always plenty of things to do and plenty of places to see.

Make time for a visit to the nearby Mayan ruins " no visit to Cancun is truly complete without taking in this awe-inspiring sight. With its beaches, exciting nightlife and many cultural events and sightseeing opportunities, its no wonder that Cancun is Mexico's most popular gay friendly destination.
