Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

Great Islands in the Caribbean

By Matthew James

The islands in the Caribbean are beautiful. They have a great palm trees, beautiful clear water, friendly locals, and delicious food. They are visited each year by millions of tourists seeking fun in the sun. There are a lot of islands in this part of the world and with so many too choose from, you might have a hard time- they are all so good after all. Some of the best islands are Haiti, Puerto Rico, Barbados, and Saona Island.

Barbados is a famous island. This former British colony is most popular for its white coral beaches, majestic rain forests, and tropical drinks and flowers. Its botanical gardens, museum, and old St. Johns church are the predominant tourist attractions in Barbados besides its beach. The island also boasts an active night life of singing, dancing, and drinking. Barbados is a great place to go relax and unwind from life.

Another great place to see is Puerto Rico. This romantic spot is great for newly weds and couples who want to pamper themselves in luxury and comfort. There are many great spas and resorts on the island. Besides surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling and other water sports, the wildlife and adventure on this island is also fabulous. Additionally, Puerto Rico has a rich cultural heritage and a lively culture that cherishes dancing, partying, and celebrations. On Puerto Rico, you can spend your days in the sun on the beach or trekking around the islands interior and then spend your night celebrating with good dancing and great dining.

If you are looking for a remote destination, you should head to Saona Island. Saona Island is part of the Dominican Republic. This island is famous and has appeared in a lot of Hollywood movies. The island has great wildlife and fish around it. You can swim and scuba dive as well as take a tour of the island on a catamaran. There are a lot of things to do here besides the beach so despite the island being small, you can stay busy.

The last island that should be on your list is the island of Haiti. Haiti was one the first independent nations in the Caribbean. Founded by Christopher Columbus, this island is lush with fruits and towering mahogany trees. The island is home to a lot of bird and animal species found nowhere else in the world. Haiti also has exotic and mouth watering delicacies well known to tourists who gorge on the delicacies. Most people know Haiti from the bad press coverage it gets but there is more to the island than that and it is worth your time.

The tropical islands in this part of the world are stunning. For those in North America who can't afford an expensive holiday to Fiji or the Seychelles, this area of the world is just as good. You'll find everything you could want from a tropical island here and the beauty is that they are cheap too. When you plan your next holiday, check out this part of the world.
