Building An Authoritative Travel Blog

Authoritative blogs seem all the rage at the moment but what exactly is an " Authoritative Travel Blog ?" Well my understanding of the matter is it is a blog that is not only very informative to the readers but that the information comes from authoritative type people in connection with what they are writing about.

Hopefully my articles below will give an insight on travel and travel related experiences from all over the world from many authoritative writers as they have been there and done that.

Articles will be and are published often and this means current travel experiences and up to date places to visit. If you have also visited these places or wish to comment then please do so remembering this blog is intended to family orientated visitors so please be respectful.

I have seen many fears raised through my article site and feel that any traveller today that, for one reason or another, decides against travel insurance then they are possibly being a little short sighted. We do not want our boats to sink but are happy to carry life rafts. travel insurance is a similar idea. We do not wish to ever claim on it but if things go wrong as they sometimes do it is a benifit to have the insurance.

By Mercie Hallow

St Patrick is an Ireland's National Saint. He is the bringer of Christianity in the land that was once a pagan country. St Patrick is highly a highly anticipated special day in Ireland. This day is solely dedicated in the remembrance of the life and image of the great saint. St Patrick is Ireland's patron saint and with him he brings the symbol of shamrock which is Ireland's most revered symbol. Truly St. Patrick Day is Ireland's day of celebrating and remembering their favored saint.

St. Patricks Day is also celebrated in other countries where Irish population is indeed plentiful. In Dubuque, Iowa the St. Patricks Day is also celebrated. People don green shirts which are the shade of the color of St. Patrick and carry with them the Shamrock symbol on parades and fun activities. In Ireland, it is reported that people go all the way as dyeing a whole river in the color green to increase the festive spirit. Irish food and delicacies are often offered in this event too.

St. Patrick is Irelands patron saint. The festivity in celebrating this special day is so grand, but who is this St. Patrick anyway? St. Patrick is reportedly known as the one who drove away all the snakes in Ireland thats the reason why there are no snakes to be found in Ireland. St. Patricks Day is spent on March 17 which is said to be the day St. Patrick had died.

Green, Gold, shamrock, and luck are the usual symbol and often times seen in a St. Patrick Day Celebration. Young ones and adults as well are excited to experience several fun activities for which they can take part to. Performances, musicals and dance numbers with the carried green and gold costumes are presented to the enjoyment of the attendees. A mascot in a leprechaun costume and a green bowler hat is commonly the Festivals awaited attraction.

St. Patricks Day Celebration is indeed an event that is full of fun, laughter, festive charm and oh well- luck!
